🌹 Grasse — The World Capital of Perfume
Nestled between sea and mountains in the south of France, Grasse has been the undisputed capital of world perfumery since the 16th century. Its endless fields of May roses, jasmine, and lavender have inspired the greatest "noses" in history.
This is where it all begins — in the golden light of dawn, when pickers hand-harvest the dew-kissed flowers, before the heat of the sun alters their precious aromas.

⚗️ The Art of Distillation
After harvesting, the flowers are transported to workshops where the magical process of essence extraction begins:
- Steam distillation — the ancestral method, with its copper stills
- Enfleurage — a rare technique, for the most delicate flowers
- Solvent extraction — to obtain absolutes of exceptional purity
Each kilogram of rose essence requires 4 tons of hand-picked petals. This is what makes perfume so precious.
🧪 The Nose — The Invisible Artist
At the heart of every great perfume is a Master Perfumer — the "Nose". Trained for years, capable of distinguishing more than 3,000 raw materials, they compose their creations like a musician composes a symphony.
Three notes structure each fragrance:
- Top note — the first impression, fresh and light
- Heart note — the soul of the perfume, floral or spicy
- Base note — the lasting signature, woody or musky
